Programs
CDDF works through five focus areas. Each one is pursued through the activities the foundation runs in Washington, D.C. and with partners abroad: public forums and conferences, exhibitions, cultural exchange, workshops and training, and research.

How we work
Activities
Public forums and conferences that bring diplomats, scholars, artists and civil society into the same room, such as the kick-off event at George Mason University, the Ancient Silk Road forum at George Washington University and Fostering Cultural Bridges at the U.S.-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce.
Exhibitions and screenings, including the Speaking Colors documentary and book presentation organized with ATA-DC.
Partnerships formalized through memoranda of understanding with the Universal Peace Federation, AMMWEC and Displaced International, covering joint events, educational exchange, leadership programs, policy dialogue and research.
Research and interviews published on this site, and workshops and training in cultural diplomacy and leadership for students and young professionals.
